There are many webmasters that find writing articles for their site to be a very tedious task. Many people who need to write articles also procrastinate as much as they can to delay the amount of writing they need to do. Many people dread writing articles because they find researching for the topic and writing down original materials will be too taxing on them.
You need to have your creative juices flowing and simply downloading an article would be plagiarism or tantamount to stealing, not exactly. Have you ever heard about public domain? These are articles written down by many authors that have declared their works to be public domain, which means anybody can use it for whatever purpose they want.
While most authors would prefer to copyright their work for their rights, there are also a number who doesn’t mind sharing their work. Public domain articles are not owned by anybody and can be used and abused by anyone. The writers have waived their rights to their works and it is out there for the public to make use of.
You can use public domain articles in helping you write your articles. With the public domain articles you can simply edit them to your own style and rewrite them as you please to make it suitable for your needs. All the ideas are there already and its just a matter of finding the write article with the topic or subject you need.
This is probably the easiest way to write articles. You don’t need to scour around the library or the internet for hours for information and start an article from scratch. For webmasters who are looking for articles to fill their site and to generate a high ranking for their website in search engine results, they can just modify the article by infusing keywords and keyword phrases related to their site.
A webmaster or website operator do not risk any chance of getting sued for copyright infringement because they are public domain, once again meaning that anybody can use it. Writing articles by using public domain wont require as much work as writing one from scratch would. You save a lot of time also.
One good factor in using public domain articles for your site or for any project is that you save a lot of money. You dismiss the need to hire experienced and seasoned writers that some website operators use to write their articles. While a single five hundred worded article would only set you down 10 to 15 dollars, this cost will drastically increase when you need hundreds of articles to fill the needs of your site.
For those who needs articles to generate newsletters or an e-zine, public domain articles will be very beneficial. You do not need to count on your contributors or pay writers to write down articles for your newsletter or e-zine. You can fill all the pages without any cost or the worry of being sued and sought after by the writers. You can simply copy the articles and place them on your newsletter and e-zine.
Public domain articles are a virtual untapped resource that many people fail to realize the true value. The power of articles, keywords and keyword phrases have been deemed invaluable these past few years for many internet based businesses and sites that want to rank high in search engine results.
The number of article and content writers have grown significantly due to the rise in the demand for articles. As newer and newer topics and subjects have arisen, there are many demands for new articles to be written. An industry has been formed and this is a worldwide demand.
Public domain articles have given a great alternative for those who are cash strapped as well as do not have the time nor the skills to do their articles for themselves.
Searching for public domain articles is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3. You can search for them in search engines and do searches in many directories for the topic or subject that you need. Read them and simpy copy paste them to a word processing program and simply edit them to suit your needs.

Domain…………………………….?
find the domain of f
f(x) = (x+1)/(x^2-5x+6)
f(x) = (x)/(square root of x-1)
plz add details-
ANSWER:
1. f(x) = (x+1)/(x^2-5x+6)here denominator should not be 0
=> (x^2-5x+6) is not 0
=> (x-3)(x-2) is not 0
=> x should not be 3 or 2
thus domain : x belongs to R – {2,3}
2. f(x) = (x)/(square root of x-1)
here denominator should not be 0
=> (square root of x-1) is not 0
=> x should not be 1
additionally square root should be defined
=> x-1 >0=> x > 1
thus domain : x belongs to R+ { positive real}

QUESTION:
What is the difference between time domain and frequency domain?
If a signal passes 1000 times in one second we say that its frequency is 1000. So one signal is moving in 1000th part of a second. It means, we can view a signal in terms of time. But I’ve heard that there are two domains, i.e. time and frequency. How they relate to each other and whats the difference between them? If we view frequencies in terms of frequency domain, does time axes still exist?-
ANSWER:
Speaking non-technically, a time-domain graph shows how a signal changes over time, whereas a frequency-domain graph shows how much of the signal lies within each given frequency band over a range of frequencies. A frequency-domain representation can also include information on the phase shift that must be applied to each sinusoid in order to be able to recombine the frequency components to recover the original time signal.A given function or signal can be converted between the time and frequency domains with a pair of mathematical operators called a transform. An example is the Fourier transform, which decomposes a function into the sum of a (potentially infinite) number of sine wave frequency components. The ‘spectrum’ of frequency components is the frequency domain representation of the signal. The inverse Fourier transform converts the frequency domain function back to a time function.

QUESTION:
How can I view private/protected WHOIS domain information for a site that I think is running a scam?
I think I have come across a site that is running a scam, and I want to obtain the website’s WHOIS domain information so I can contact who is responsible, but they’re using one of those paid private domain registries… How can I get a copy of that record? Doesn’t the law require that all website domains be registered to a liable entity, and that such information be public record?-
ANSWER:
Contact the proxy private registration service the domain is registered under.The whois will give you an email address (which usually forwards to the domain owner) and tel. number of the service the registrant is using.I would make the complaint directly to the private registration service and if they see this as a scam they will probably drop their client like a hot potato.

QUESTION:
I have just received a domain dispute complaint and the complainant has already started legal proceedings?
I recently i bought an info-domain which is a name of a person. My intentions was to buy a couple celebrtity names and write biogaphies about them on these sites.However i just received a domain dispute complaint and the complainant has already started legal proceedings because i got this domain.What should i do?? Or what would one normally do when they get a domain dispute case?Should i dump the other domains?-
ANSWER:
if you have legally purchased the domain name and can prove it – then tell them to sod off. if it is a genuine complaint (which i doubt as their acting so quickly) then discuss terms with them. it could be bullying tactics to get you to dump the domain so that they can buy it for cheap, or get it off you for free.with legal proceedings, the claimant must give the defendant reasonable time to respond to the complaint, if they hurry things along, you could get it thrown out for failure of ‘due process’

QUESTION:
How do I make a domain unaccessable for computers on a network that share the same lan connection?
I have a domain setup with MS Server2000 that all of the computers in our company are part of. I need to have a certain number of computers removed from the domain so that everything within the domain is unaccessable from those computers while they still work within the building.
I created a separate workgroup and added those few computers to it so that they can share files between them but not with the rest of the company and not with the domain. The problem is is that because they are within the building and on the same lan – when they are on the workgroup they can still access the folders on the domain through My Network Places and map drives to those folders (some are shared).
How can I set the server/domain so that everybody outside of the domain cannot access any folder or file residing on the domain itself? So… how do i make DOMAIN-A unaccessble by any computer outside of DOMAIN-A or at least by any computer on WORKGROUP-B?-
ANSWER:
1. Create user groups for your users. eg. Finance, Production, Sales, etc.. Don’t forget the SysAdmin group with administrator rights2. Assign users to the individual groups.
3. For the folders that are to be shared, make sure the sharing assigns only those user groups that have rights to those folders.
4. Create user accounts for even those people who are not supposed to access the domain shares, but do not assign them to any user group that has rights to access any of the domain folders.
5. Remove ‘Everyone’ user group from the folder shares.
You now have valid users assigned to user groups that are able to access folders they are supposed to. You also have invalid users who are not assigned to user groups, but belong to the ‘Everyone’ group, and they cannot access any folders within the domain. You now also have a way to log all the users (valid or invalid) when they login to the domain.

QUESTION:
How do I remove a domain from an old work computer?
I’ve been given an old notebook from work. Is there any way I can sever the default domain so I can get the computer set up as part of my home network, short of completely reinstalling XP? My own user account has administrator priviliges. When I try to add a new user account with a new domain it won’t allow it.Basically I just want to turn it into a home computer rather than a work computer without having to reinstall everything.
-
ANSWER:
If you have administrator access, right-click My Computer and choose Properties. Click the Computer Name tab, then the Change button. It should currently have the Domain radio button selected. Select the Workgroup radio button, give it a Workgroup name, then click OK all the way out. It will prompt for a restart. After that, you should be ready to go.

QUESTION:
What is the domain and range of this assignment?
I need help understanding the meaning of the assignment can anyone give me examples of what it means or just dumb it down for me lol ?Complete: Examine several newspapers and magazines and describe at least three examples of functions that you find. What is the domain and range of each function?
-
ANSWER:
Apparently, this is a fairly common question and the question is broken down nicely at BrainMass.com.“The amount of money you pay for a gym membership is a function, because you pay a fee each month in addition to the initial fees for joining. In this case, the amount of money you pay is dependent on how many months you continue to be a member of the gym, so the amount of money you pay is the dependent variable (or range) and the number of months you continue to be a member of the gym is the independent variable (or domain).
“Some possible domain values could be (1, 2, 3, 4) months.
Some possible corresponding range values could be (80, 110, 140, 170) dollars.“In fact, this function could be written as f = 30m + 50 where f is the total amount of money you pay, m is the number of months you continue to be a member of the gym, 30 represents the amount you pay each month, and 50 represents a flat fee you pay to initially join the gym.”
Good luck on the assignment.

How to use yahoo mail for a domain which hosted by a different web hosting server?
i host my domain with IXwebhosting and i prefer to use yahoo mail than horde mail. how can i make yahoo mail my domain’s email address under a different webhosting.-
ANSWER:
Here’s one thing you can do…1.) Forward your mail from your domain to your Yahoo address. You can usually do this within your hosting/domain management account.
2.) In Yahoo mail go to Options > Accounts > Add Account, and create a new alias (my word) with which you can send email from Yahoo and have it appear to come from your domain. Yahoo will ask you to confirm you have access to the mailbox.That way you can use your domain name for both sending and receiving, and do it all from your regular Yahoo email.

QUESTION:
How to fid the domain and range of an exponential function?
I was wondering how you defined the domain and range of an exponential function. Also, how do you find them?-
ANSWER:
the easiest way is to sketch a graph. The domain is equal to all the x values the graph covers, say negative infinity to positive infinity. The range is equal to all of the y-values that the graph covers. So in the case of a parabola, it could be something like 0 to infinity.

QUESTION:
What is the best domain hosting website?
I’ve got plans and I need the best domain hosting service possible.Also, what’s a good company for getting money when people click on ads besides Google?
-
ANSWER:
There are many web hosting providers and you might become confused to choose which one. It is very important that you choose a good web host. Good doesn’t mean expensive. Good means reliable with great support.Some people try to save money and choose to go with a free web host. They usually realize pretty quickly what a huge mistake that is. I’m all for free whenever possible, but free web hosting will end up costing much more than you save.
It can be confusing when choosing a web hosting company because they all look pretty much the same and they seem like they know what they are doing. However, I recommend reading reviews from reliable websites so that you may compare and become more familiar with the hosting companies before making a decision. I am a web designer and I have changed back and forth from many companies over the years but my favorite one is FatCow. I am moving all my websites to them as the contracts expire.
Also, if you want to make money I recommend Commission Junction. Instead of making about 15 cents a click, you make money when someone clicks and buys. You can make commissions from to 0 as far as I know.

QUESTION:
What is the difference between domain and range?
What is the difference between domain and range?These questions were posted in my algebra class for a discussion and I do not know what it means at all I feel like I am taking a foreign language can somebody please help?
Describe a real-life situation that could be modeled by a function.
-
ANSWER:
Hi,For this question, you should remember that domain represents the set of possible ‘x’ values (independent values) of a function where a possible ‘y’ value is produced. Now, the range implies just the opposite: the set of possible ‘y’ values (dependent values) of a function where a possible ‘x’ value is produced.
Therefore, let’s look at the equation y = 1 / x. Notice how if we put x = 0 into that equation, the ‘y’ value we get would be 1 / 0 which is not possible. Hence, x = 0 is not in the domain.
However, the range, would be the span of the corresponding ‘y’ values that make this equation true.
I hope that helps you out! Please let me know if you have any other questions!

QUESTION:
How do I register my domain online without paying anyone?
I do not need web hosting or building or any of the other services that are offered. I already know how to do all of that. I just need to register my domain so that it can be visited. How do I? Please help I do not want to pay for it.-
ANSWER:
You don’t – ICANN charges for domain names and, regardless of where you order one, it’s ICANN that gives it to you. (You can get it for free, but that means that someone else is paying ICANN for you. Microsoft will give you a free domain name [for 6 months or a year or something like that] – they pay for it. After that, you pay for it.If you can’t afford /year (that’s about what it costs), consider using a free dynamic IP service like No-IP or DynDNS. (I’m assuming that you’re hosting the site yourself.)

QUESTION:
To be able to sell a domain name do I need to buy the domain name in a different way?
To be able to sell a domain name do I need to buy the domain name in a different way?
I wonder if I just buy a domain name for example from yahoo, can I sell the name to the third party?
Isn’t that simple as buying and selling a car?
What are the important points that I should consider through this buying and reselling procedure?
Thank you very much.-
ANSWER:
No need to buy the domain name in any special way. Once you buy the domain name you have rights to it and can do whatever you want with it.You will have to sell the domain name to a third party getting payment on your own terms, and then you can simply transfer the domain name to that party.
One thing to remember when you do buy a domain name your are not allowed to transfer it for 60 days after purchase. So you need to hold onto it for 2 months before reselling.

Is eminent domain exempt from capitol gain earnings on your income tax?
I’ve looked through the IRS’s website and can’t find an exmeption for it but can’t figure why the state would not send us some type of reporting form.
Any information or links that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.-

Actually, if you have a gain more than the 0,000 or 0,000 that can be excluded, you have the option of buying replacement property up to 2 years after the conversion, to defer the non-excluded gain until you sell that house.If you fail to obtain replacement property, or if you elect not to report purchasing replacement property, the conversion is reported as if it were an ordinary sale.

In short, you cannot use another’s trademark or a confusingly similar variant in order to forward traffic to your site.Domain disputes are generally handled under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP). While the UDRP is relatively new, the number of decisions is pretty substantial and the case law is pretty well developed for most common disputes.
Decided cases can be searched at the link below.

As an example, look at the case below. Someone registered 11 domain names found confusingly similar to JP Morgan’s trademarks. All 11 domain names were transferred from the registrant to JP Morgan.

QUESTION:
what is an illegal domain name regarding trademark?
I have registered domain names for an upcoming release of a product. The release has been known for quite some time and surprisingly, the domains were available. I would like to know if there are certain domains that are illegal, if I’m planning to offer a service related to the products trademarked name.
what if i’m not using something like ipod.com but something like ipodservicecenter, ipod magazine, or ipoddrives.com(s)
now, if they’ve trade marked ipod musical cinema – can i get ipodmusicalcinema.com ?-
ANSWER:
The domains you are talking about still contain Apple’s trademark, iPod, so it’d be my guess that you’d have a hard time holding on to those domains. Large corporations take their intellectual property quite seriously. I suggest contacting a trademark attorney before moving ahead with your plans.Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

QUESTION:
What is the difference between domain and range? Describe a realsituation that could be modeled by a function?
I know that x is the domain and y is the range but I am having issues putting this into a real world situation…can anyone help me please?-
ANSWER:
We say Y is the range because on a cartesian xy graph, Y is generally what we are solving for. The range will be the range of what Y will be on the graph. X is the domain because that tells us what values of X we can use. ie, in some cases the domain will be anything that will not produce an “error” such as a zero in the denominator.Say I wanted to buy 2 apples a day for 7 days. And I didn’t eat any, how many would I have after 7 days?
So:
day1 = 2
day2 = 4
day3 = 6
day4 = 8
day5 = 10
day6 = 12
day7 = 14This can be modeled by y = 2x
Y will the the answer, which is the amount of apples I will have after X number of days. So looking at my answers (from above), the range will be 2 to 14. The domain will be 1 to 7, because I am only looking at it for 7 days. Technically, in the equation y=2x, the domain can be any real number and the equation will still work. But since I specified for only 7 days, the domain is 1 to 7.

QUESTION:
How do I find the domain and range of logarithmic and exponential equations?
Can anyone please help?
How do I find the domain and range of logarithmic and exponential equations?
Advice on intercepts would help too…thanks in advance.-
ANSWER:
For the domain of logarithmic functions – the argument of a logarithmic function must be positivelog base 3 of 9 = 2
log base 10 of 0.001 = -3
the argument must be positive => hence
log ( f(x) ) will have a domain limited to f(x) > 0
the rangle for the log function will be R for the full domaine^x is the inverse of the natural log function. It has a domain of R and a Range of R+

QUESTION:
What’s the difference between domain registrar and commerical web hosting?
If one selects a web host like, hostmonster, do they also have to use a registrar for a domain?-
ANSWER:
A “registrar” is a company that is allowed to issue internet domain names with ICANN. This service is then sold to consumers in the form of an annual registration fee for a particular domain name. See here for more details:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_name_registrar
Now, it is a common misconception that when you registar a domain name, you “own” that name. In reality when you pay for a domain name, you pay for the rights to use the name and the service the registrar provides to allow you to manage that domain. The the name is “assigned” to you but only authorized registrars can “manage” domain records with ICANN. When you are the assignee for a domain, you have the right to transfer that name to any other registrar you wish (kind of like your cell number). This is protected by regulations. Beware of registrars (other than the one you registered with) that send you emails or snail mail telling you it’s time to renew. This is an underhanded ploy to get you to transfer the management of your assigned domain(s) to their company. If you get communications from a registrar with a different name than yours, look at the fine print.
Now web hosting is a completely different service that may be offered by the same company that your domain is registered through. There is no requirement that you use the same company for both but it is often easier to manage if you have both services at the same company.
There is actually a third service involved in getting a website up which is your authoritative name server. This is *the* dns server that is designated in your root dns record at ICANN as the authority on requests for your domain. Most people use the same company as the registrar to do this but there is certainly no requirement to use the same company. In fact, it’s possible to set up the root authority record to point to your home server and run your website from that same server. You need to have a static IP address and a router that can do port mapping (most do).
BTW, I use godaddy.com as a registrar which is cheap (under /year with multi-year discounts) and provides a lot of management features. My DNS is served from zoneedit.com which is free for 5 domain names. My web server is run from my house.

QUESTION:
How to send a webpage not registered in a domain?
I have edited someone’s website which is registered and has a domain but I need to show the changes I made to the client before uploading as I don’t knwow how and I’m afraid it will overwrite their website. I worked on it in html and css. Can I email them the main page without uplaoding it in a domain? Any assistance will be great.Thank you!
Thank you very much for all your help!-
ANSWER:
If they are savvy enough, just send the files in a zipped format and let them unzip them and take a look at the html file. The paths have to be working so if the page will work alone with the reference you have to the CSS file, then you’re good to go. Otherwise, if the files do not have the correct relationship with each other, then the paths are broken and nothing will work right.The files also do not have to be zipped, as you can attach each one as an attachment. The zipped form is only good if you have lots of files which your email may not be able to send because of size limitations.
Another alternative is to use file hosting and let them download the files from there:

QUESTION:
How to find domain and range from a equation?
I’m given an equation; y=2x-9, and its asking me to find the domain and range of this equation. Though… I have no idea how to find domain and range simply from an equation and it’d be wonderful if someone could explain to me how to do it.-
ANSWER:
The domain is all of the possible x values that does not make the y value undefined. The range is all of the possible y values. It’s a linear equation, so the domain and range are both all real numbers.
